A live photo screen for concerts and large events

At a concert, a live photo screen only works if someone decides what is shown. Live Wall is that photo wall for the event: photos only, from a QR, with no app and no account. No capacity is promised. Here is where to put the QR, how to moderate and which limits are written down.

What Live Wall is at a large event

Live Wall shows photos only, in a reduced version, fullscreen in the browser. It does not show videos. The QR can sit on that same screen. Hide from Live Wall takes a photo off within seconds and leaves it in the gallery. The audience does not see the stored file: the phone already uploads a reduced JPEG, and the screen shows a smaller preview.

Where to put the QR in a large venue

A tiny code on a distant LED cannot be read. It has to be large, with margin and contrast, close enough for a phone to focus.

  • On the side screens, or in a band of the main screen, long enough to scan, not a flash between videos.
  • On signage at eye level: doors, bars, the cloakroom and the way onto the floor. That is where people are standing still.
  • On the wristband or the pass, if you print one, with a code large enough to scan for real.
  • On the poster at the venue door, with one short line and, if you use a PIN, the number beside it.

Say it once over the PA: “There is a QR to upload photos to the screen. No app.” Repeating it every song does not help. If the PIN is on and it is not written down, the room will not guess it.

Moderation: you choose what is projected

With a large audience, the risk is a photo that should not be on a big screen. You decide the projection and you can hide any photo without deleting it. MyEventQR does not moderate for you: at a large show, have someone watch the gallery from a phone during the set and take down what should not be seen.

Spectator Mode

Spectator Mode is a link for watching Live Wall away from the projector: a return screen, the foyer or someone outside. They see what you project, not the full gallery. The 4-digit PIN is optional; if you save one, it is required to watch and to upload. If the link is posted publicly, write the PIN next to the QR or the room will not be able to send photos.

Real limits: storage, file size and uploads per connection

There is no attendee cap and no figure for people online at once. The code limits something else.

  • Demo Mode: 72 hours, 20 photos, 100 MB and photos up to 10 MB. Photos only, two full downloads, one file at a time, and it does not become a paid plan. It is for a rehearsal, not for the concert.
  • Event Plan: 90 days and 20 GB. Photos up to 25 MB. The quantity cap is storage. Videos, up to 150 MB, are not projected.
  • Pro Plan: 365 days from payment and 200 GB shared by the account. Photos up to 30 MB. It fits if you organize often or one event runs out of space. It does not promise capacity or performance.

Each public IP can upload up to 300 files per hour to that event. It is a brake, not a quota per person. On the venue Wi-Fi that IP is often shared. Someone on mobile data has another. There is no figure for photos per minute on screen. Compare storage and period on the pricing page. During the beta, payments are not active: you can create the trial, not buy the plan.

Tell the room how the photos will be used

Before uploading, the attendee sees that the organizer is responsible, that photos may be projected and that they are deleted 14 days after the event expires. The notice links to the privacy policy. The room needs the same line on the signage or over the PA. Anyone who does not want to take part does not scan. If someone asks to stay out, hide that photo from the gallery.

After the show

After expiry there are 14 days to download; then the files are deleted. Event Plan: two full downloads; extra €0.15/GB (min. €3). Pro repeats share 1 TB a year; then the same. The first copy of each file is always free. On the trial, two full downloads, one file at a time. WhatsApp compresses and Drive asks for accounts. The screen shows only what you allow. For a dinner, see photos on the screen.

Questions

How many people can upload at once?

There is no capacity figure. The brake is 300 files per hour per IP, often shared on the venue Wi-Fi. The plan’s storage is the other limit.

Do photos hit the screen with nobody looking?

They appear if Live Wall is on and you have not hidden them. You choose what is projected, on the trial and on the paid plans.

Which plan fits a concert?

Not the trial: 20 photos and 72 hours, with no extension. Compare the Event Plan (90 days, 20 GB) and the Pro Plan (365 days, 200 GB shared) on pricing. During the beta, payments are not active.

Do we have to tell the audience?

Yes. One line on the door or on the screen: they may be projected and are deleted 14 days after expiry.
